According to Yonhap News,

Pyeongchang-gun, Gangwon province will install clean energy facilities to help reduce greenhouse gas and save energy.

The local government of Pyeongchang said on July 6 it already replaced old solar PV modules installed on its government office with new ones, as it won state funding to meet the target of carbon neutrality last year.

With new PV modules, Pyeongchang expects they will expand the installed solar capacity to 101.53 kWh and reduce the electricity bill by 14%.

It also plans to install fast-charging EV stations, in order to meet the growing demand for EVs.

One official of Pyeongchang-gun said, "We will be committed to introducing clean energy facilities that will result in improving Pyeongchang's EV infrastructures, reducing greenhouse gas, and saving energy."
