Jeongseon's excellent products exported to the Australian market
Jeongseon-gun, Gangwon-do, and the Gangwon State Economic Promotion Agency held a shipping ceremony for exports of Jeongseon's excellent products to Australia at the Jeongseon Distribution Cooperative on August 1.
Twenty-three products were exported to Australia, worth $22,000, including processed gondre by Gowon Agricultural, Surichwi songpyeon by Jeongnaneum, and waxy corn by Yeoryang Nonghyup.
These products will be sold through special sales promotion at Gangwon Wonder Mart in Brisbane, Australia.
Even after this special sales, Jeongseon-gun plans to expand exports by operating pop-up stores for excellent products and regularizing special sales events.
An official from Jeongseon-gun office said, "This is very meaningful in that we opened the door to the Australian market."
