According to Gangwon State on August 30, OTOM plans to invest KRW 4.4 billion on a 3,920㎡ site in the Bangye General Industrial Complex in Wonju to build an portable X-ray production plant and a new mobile CT production facility, with hiring 25 workers.

Hyundae Meditech, a company that mainly produces medical devices such as lifting threads, fillers, automatic drug injectors, and cosmetics, plans to invest KRW 9.5 billion on a site of 9,877㎡ adjacent to its first plant in Wonju Enterprise City by 2026 and hire new employees.
It will also establish a GMP-certified plant that can expand filler production to meet an increasing demand from home and abroad driven by increased interest in anti-aging and explosive growth of the international beauty market in the era of aging society.
Under the agreement, Gangwon State and Wonju-si plan to provide administrative and financial support for the successful business and stable management of these companies.
