Wonju-si invited 31 buyers from 7 countries....export consultation
Wonju-si, Gangwon State, announced that it will hold export consultations by inviting 31 famous foreign buyers from seven countries to the "2023 Wonju Enterprise Expo" to be held on September 15-16.
The business partnership meetings, part of the city's project to bolster export competitiveness, selected a total of 34 companies participating in the Enterprise Expo and will offer one-on-one matching meetings with prospective buyers.
It will also provide a free-consueling method in which buyers visit the Expo in person to conduct consultation.
There are a total of 31 foreign buyers, including four companies each from China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Singapore, and Vietnam, and seven from Malaysia.
Companies participating in the consultations are those that have track record of or capable of exporting such items as food, household goods, beauty products, and medical devices.
An official from Wonju-si said, "we will ensure that this export consultation is not just a one-time event, but lead to actual contract signing through 3-months follow-up work", adding, "We will lay the groundwork for virtuous cycle so that the Expo can grow into internationally renowned one."
