According to Yonhap News,

The Gangwon Forestry Exhibition 2023, which is taking place in locations in Goseong, Inje, Yangyang, and Sokcho in Gangwon State, recorded more than 100,000 visitors in a week after its opening.

The Organizing Committee counted the cumulative number of visitors from September 22, the opening day, to 2 pm on September 28, the first day of the Chuseok holiday, which reached 100,059.

Among the five exhibition halls, visitors keep flocking to the Green Earth Hall and the Peace & Forest Hall, while the Pine Cone Observatory, the landmark of the event venue, was also crowded with visitors every day.

The organizing committee reckoned that the programs of the Goseong World Jamboree Center, the main venue, and the side events held in each region make a positive impact on each other, being held together in four cities and counties.

The Exhibition, opened under the theme of "Seeking the Future of the World and Mankind in the Forest", will be open for 31 days.

The main venue, the Gangwon World Jamboree Center, covers the area of 217,893㎡, while the sub-venues are locations in Goseong, Sokcho, Inje, and Yangyang.
