Wonju-si, Gangwon State and CJ OliveNetworks joined hands to build a Stream 4IR (4th Industrial Revolution) cluster industrial complex based on global cooperation.

The city's mayor and CEO of CJ OliveNetworks signed an MOU at the City Hall on March 15.

Wonju-si will push for the creation of Stream 4IR Cluster in cooperation with global companies to maximize the ecosystem of the Stream 4IR cluster industry and secure the competitiveness of domestic Stream 4IR industry.

The two parties to the MOU will cooperate in six areas including ICT infrastructure and training services for digital innovation center, ICT infrastructure and control and operation services for physical innovation center, and seek measures to utilize air logistics bases within Wonju Airport.

The city's mayor said, "the digital transformation of the manufacturing industry is accelerating globally," adding that "we will make a leap forward as a global hub city by securing future growth engines based on the Stream 4IR cluster participated by various international/national companies, and overseas university students."
