Wonju-si, Gangwon State will actively attract high-tech companies by participating in one of the world's top three international Nano technology events.

On July 2, the city said that it will participate in the 22nd International Nanotech Symposium & Exhibition (NANO KOREA 2024) to be held at KINTEX in Ilsan on July 3-5.

Hosted by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and the Ministry of Science and ICT, and co-organized by the Korea Nano Technology Research Society and the Nano Technology Research Association, the event is one of the world's top three international Nano technology events.

They will also appeal the establishment of Buron General Industrial Complex and Buron IC, which started construction in September last year.

Wonju Mayor said, "it is a great opportunity to once again demonstrate that Wonju is a good city for doing business," adding, "We will do our best to create various infrastructures and improve living conditions so that Wonju can become a hub for future high-tech industries."
