According to Yonhap News,

Gangwon State has decided to expand its cooperation with Estonia in the field of artificial intelligence (AI) healthcare.

According to Gangwon State on August 12, its delegation, which visited Estonia to strengthen global cooperation, held a meeting on August 11th with five relevant organizations, including the Tartu City Hall, the Estonian Business and Innovation Agency, and HealthFounders, to discuss ways to enhance mutual cooperation in the AI healthcare and biohealth industries.

This meeting was a follow-up to the AI healthcare cooperation MOU signed in December last year between Gangwon State, Tartu City, and the the Estonian Business and Innovation Agency.

The delegation also visited Tartu University Hospital, the only university hospital in Estonia, to observe the local demonstration sites for Gangwon AI healthcare companies.

They toured the demonstration site of AI-based patient management solution 'AI-PAM' by GEOMEXSOFT and held a meeting to begin a new demonstration for Mezoo's product.

GEOMEXSOFT, in response to the hospital's request, has doubled the scale of its demonstration from eight to 17 hospital rooms and plans to start writing research papers.

Mezoo will officially begin its cardiovascular surgery demonstration with its mobile remote patient monitoring solution, 'HiCardi.'

An official from Gangwon State said, "The additional demonstrations and cooperation requested by local institutions and hospitals show that Gangwon's AI healthcare technology is competitive in the European market. We will continue to support competitive Gangwon companies in expanding in the global market."
