• Location: Dongho-ri, Sonhyang-myeon, Yangyang-gun, Gangwon-do
• Provides air transportation services for the mid- to long-term purpose of attracting foreign tourists and acheive balanced development using the natural resources of the Yeongdong region, including Mt. Seorak and Mt. Geumgang
• The central airport of the Yeongdong region is an aerial gateway for Gangwong tourism, complete with passenger terminals that can accomodate up to 3.17 million passengers a year and park 498 airplanes.
