The first issue of the Korean Free Economic Zones (KFEZ) newsletter has been published. Korea’s free economic zones, which collectively serve as a global business hub, boast an ideal environment for global companies.

FEZs are special economic zones that improve the business and living environment of foreign-invested companies, ensure their business activities and guarantee investment promotion. With the first KFEZ established in Incheon in 2003, other FEZs include Busan-Jinhae, Gwangyang Bay, Yellow Sea, Daegu-Gyeongbuk, Saemangeum-Gunsan, Chungbuk and East Sea.

The KFEZ newsletter will include a cover story that examines Korea’s economic trends and those of FEZs, and the latest news on the Korean government and eight FEZs.
