About 60 people attended the event, including Scania Korea Managing Director Kaj Farm, Essilor Korea CEO Christophe Birades, employees of foreign-invested companies, diplomatic envoys and the families of these participants.

With the Korean harvest holiday of Chuseok then only a week away, participants had the opportunity to experience making Chuseok rice cakes (song pyeon), trying on traditional Korean dress (hanbok) and learning to set the ritual table. They also visited the Grévin Museum (a French wax museum), a case of investment attraction by the Seoul Metropolitan Government.

"Get to Know Korea: Chuseok has been an event to show foreign residents that Korea is a great place to live and where traditional and new cultures coexist," said Kim Yunsik, Director General of Invest Korea’s Investment Planning Department.
