Invest KOREA, the investment promotion arm of the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA), will hold China Week 2016 to promote foreign direct investment from China. The program includes one-on-one business meetings between Chinese investors and small- and medium-sized Korean companies seeking to enter the Chinese market. We ask for your cooperation and support. |

- Date/Venue: April 25~28, 2016/Four Seasons Hotel Seoul (tentative)
- Participants
- (Korea) Ministry of Trade, Industry & Energy (MOTIE), KOTRA, related organizations and 150 domestic companies
- (China) 45 Chinese investors and 15 Korean companies already in China
- Target sectors: Food products, distribution, cultural contents, fashion, beauty, energy, healthcare, etc.
Program
- Welcome Reception: hosted by Invest KOREA Head (tentative)
- Meeting with Chinese Companies: hosted by MOTIE Minister to listen to the grievances of around 10 Chinese companies
- IR Sessions & One-on-One Business Meetings: for Chinese investors in sectors including food products, cultural contents and tourism
* Local governments: Saemangeum Development and Investment Agency, Jeju Province, Seoul City, etc.
* Related organizations: ①Food·distribution (Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corp. - Food Valley), ②Cultural contents (Korea Creative Content Agency), ③Cosmetics·aparrel (Korea Fashion Association), ④Energy (Korea Electric Power Corporation - Naju Energy Valley), ⑤Resort construction (local governments) ⑥Healthcare (Korea Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association)- Consulting & PR booths of Korean organizations & companies and local governments are provided for the Chinese investors.
