Invest KOREA

Invest KOREA, the investment promotion arm of the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency, held a meeting with the local governments on June 16 at the Plaza, Seoul. Investment promotion officers from a total of 17 local governments attended the meeting to share their investment promotion projects and insights on strengthening multilateral cooperation.

Invest KOREA also introduced the current status of the Invest KOREA website and its 10 local government websites for attracting investment and its major projects to promoting the free economic zones.

"Having recorded more than 600,000 visitors and 320,000 page views in 2015, Invest KOREA is clearly the leading national investment promotion website in Korea. We are seeking for more local governments to cooperate with us to attract domestic and foreign investment," said Yang Chang-seok, Director General of Invest KOREA’s Investment Planning Department.

In response to the need to effectively introduce Korea's investment environment, Invest KOREA plans to share experiences related to investment promotion with the local governments and establish joint projects with them to strengthen multilateral cooperation.
