Invest KOREA Transfers Know-how to Mozambique Investment Promotion Delegation
Date
2017.06.01

On May 29, experts from Invest KOREA (IK) transferred its investment promotion know-how to a delegation from Mozambique as part of KOTRA Academy's 'Capacity Building for Investment and Trade Promotion' program. The delegation was visiting Korea for the second stage of the three-year training program launched in 2016. The aim for this year was to help the delegation of some 20 working-level civil servants from related organizations in Mozambique to better understand and apply the trade and investment promotion strategies being used in Korea.

During the delegation's two-week visit, IK's team of experts explained the current status of Korea's efforts to attract foreign investment, including marketing strategies, government systems to help foreign investors settle in Korea, and ways to manage investments once they are made, as well as how to assist with problems that arise during the investment process. The team also shared successful cases in attracting investment, and offered advice based on firsthand experience on how Mozambique might enhance their own investment promotion strategies. IK also plans to participate in the third stage of the program set to take place in 2018.
