KOTRA to host 2021 College Career Fair across 13 campuses in Seoul from Apr 27-Jun 4

Korea Trade –Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA: CEO and President, Kwon Pyung-oh) has begun to host a college career fair to match young job seekers to foreign invested companies in Korea, making visit to a dozen campuses nationwide.

Starting from Apr 27 at Chung-Ang University, the event, scheduled to take place 16 times through June 4, 2021, will be held under the sponsorship of 13 universities (Korea University, Hanyang University, Ewha Wonams University etc.) across the city of Seoul and 16 world’s leading multinational companies which include IKEA Korea, Hitachi ABB Power Grids, DHL Korea.

The fair consists of an online, live seminar session, followed by a couple of corporate presentations, sharing detailed information on recruitment for 40 minutes each. KOTRA, the host, expects the possibility of turning the fair into a biannual event if it gains positive feedback from both college students and HR representatives.
Chang Sang-hyun, commissioner of KOTRA’s Invest Korea, said “These foreign invested companies are providing quality jobs, hiring over 760,000 workers in Korea, which takes up approximately 5.4 percent of the overall employment. Invest Korea will keep working on exploring greater opportunities to match young job seekers to global businesses.”
