-A nationwide online career fair from May 10-14 to pool young talents
-Company presentation and mentoring courses with 13 foreign invested companies

Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA: CEO and President, Kwon Pyung-oh), which has recently geared up to host a college career fair visiting a dozen campuses across Seoul city is set to open a ‘2021 Foreign Invested Companies Job Fair Week’ with 13 multinational businesses in Korea. The four day event, which starts from May 10-14, is reported to invite approximately 1,000 young job seekers nationwide.

The fair consists of two separate sessions; one is for an hour special mentoring course giving recruitment guidance to the attendees every morning from 11 a.m. during the show, and the other is for company presentations (and receptions) providing detailed information to the participants for an hour every 2 p.m. Those who’ve applied to join the session are allowed to enjoy livestreaming services online and post comments during Q&A session. KOTRA said it’s a nationwide event, available not only in campuses in Seoul city, but in other places throughout the country.

The list of 13 foreign invested companies taking part in the fair this time includes Robert Walters Korea, a specialist professional recruitment consulting group, and Shopee, a leading online e-commerce platform in Southeast Asia. By country, three companies headquartered in the UK, and two US and Japanese businesses have joined the career fair.

Chang Sang-hyun, commissioner of KOTRA’s Invest KOREA said, “The lingering COVID-19 impact forced us to shift the format of the event. We’re currently focusing a lot more on online fairs, but going to open the largest on-site career fair in October.”
