Date
2022.10.04

In-depth interviews with 12 exemplary foreign-invested firms, talking about their office culture and working environment
Expected to be useful for jobseekers interested in foreign-invested firms

KOTRA (President & CEO Yu Jeong-yeol) published 'I work for Foreign-Invested Firm Vol.2' that delves deeply into the working environment of excellent foreign-invested firms that entered the domestic market, on Oct. 4. Following last year's volume 1, the second book introduces the businesses of 12 foreign-invested firms including Boeing Korea, Otis Korea, and Henkel Korea, along with their visions, welfare policies and recruitment information.

On top of that, the book contains their office culture; a way of work or communication; a global network; and the career management told by 13 employees from the companies. Moreover, interviews with three staff from the Foreign Firm Employment Support Team of KOTRA will detail KOTRA's project for foreign-invested firm employment support, as well as useful tips.

The book also introduces exemplary cases of the ESG management, which has emerged as a matter of concern for many companies. In particular, the author asked the corporate managers of their corporate climate and tips for an interview, about which jobseekers interested in working for foreign-invested companies may be curious.

The 143-page books will be distributed to organizations related to foreign-invested firms. Also, they will be distributed to job-seekers at the 17th Job Fair for Foreign-Invested Companies to be held at the COEX Hall D from Nov. 14 to 15. In addition, it is available to download for free on the website of KOTRA's foreign market news (news.kotra.or.kr).

Jang Snag-Hyeon, Commissioner of the KOTRA's Invest KOREA , said, "Of Fortune Global 500 companies, 246 firms advanced into the Korean market, many of which contribute to creating quality jobs," adding, "As job-related information in the first book published last year received a welcoming response from both foreign-invested firms and job-seekers, we expanded the number of participating companies and added more relevant information."
