KOTRA employees and executives raised funds for Türkiye's earthquake relief from Feb. 14
Employees working in overseas offices also showed active participation

KOTRA (President Yu Jeong-yeol) organized a fundraising event for its employees and executives from Feb. 14 to 17, together with the KOTRA Labor Union, to raise money to help the earthquake victims in Türkiye. KOTRA runs a trade office in Istanbul, Türkiye, supporting Korea's exports to Türkiye.

By Feb. 17, the last day of the event, a total of KRW 10 million was raised. This was possible thanks to the engagement of KOTRA employees at home and abroad, led by the employees that had returned from the Istanbul Office to help their brotherly country.

The donations raised during the event will be delivered to Türkiye through the Korean Red Cross. Besides emergency relief supplies are also scheduled to be sent to the victims through the Turkish Embassy in Seoul, Korea.

President Yu said, "The Turkish are suffering from an unprecedented disaster," adding, "We hope that the donations collected by KOTRA employees and executives will be delivered to the country and help its relief efforts."
