KOTRA to Hold GLOBAL TALENT FAIR on August 21-22
400 companies (including domestic, foreign, and overseas) looking for talents will be gathered in one place

A large-scale job fair will be held at COEX in Seoul for two days on August 21-22 to help global talent find employment. KOTRA (President Yu Jeoung-yeol) co-hosts the Global Talent Fair with △ Human Resources Development Service of Korea (Acting President Kim Young-joong), △ Seoul Metropolitan Government (Mayor Oh Se-hoon), and △ National Institute for International Education (President Ryoo Hyea-sook) and invites more than 400 companies looking for talents. This event combines △ Foreign Investment Company Job Fair △ Global Job Exhibition △ Foreign Student Job Fair, which used to be held separately, for the first time, allowing global talents to explore and interview various companies at one event.

First, more than 180 foreign-invested companies in Korea have recruitment plans. Companies with global competitiveness acquired through long history and business know-how, such as △3M △ Dell Technologies △ Otis Elevator Korea, are planned to participate. They are popular among job seekers thanks to their high job stability and growth potential.

Overseas employment, which had slowed down for a while due to COVID-19, has also shown trend of picking up since last year. More than 120 overseas companies are looking for talents, with their HR managers visiting Korea to conduct interviews in person. Those included are △ Capgemini Japan (Japan), △ TIDE SOLUTION (UAE), and △ Happytel Retail Group (Australia), among others.

Meanwhile, it also provides employment opportunities for foreign students studying in Korea. They are preferred by Korean companies because of their understanding of Korean culture as well as language. More than 100 Korean companies hoping to hire foreign students will participate in the fair, planning to hire 240 people.

In addition, various additional events are prepared, such as △ recruitment briefing session △ special lecture △on-site one-on-one resume reviewing △ on-site ID photo studio △ AI mock interview and △ award ceremony for writing contest on the subject of successful job-seeking experiences. Job seekers can submit resumes or apply for individual events through the job fair website (globaltalentfair.kotra.biz ).
