The Busan-Jinhae Free Economic Zone (BJFEZ) authority organized an investment seminar on Ungcheon and Namsan development project late August to explain its investment incentives and environment and find a new developer.
The project lost momentum for a while, as an existing developer was forced to withdraw from the project due to slow progress.
Encouraged by the development project for Undong Tourism & Leisure Complex, located near the Ungcheon and Namsan district, accelerating, however, BJFEZ plans to attract a membership resort, theme park and medical facility to the district.
About 50 people including public officials of north Gyeongsang Province and Changwon City, constructors, investors and staffs of hospitals attended the seminar and then visited the Ungcheon and Namsan district.
"The investment seminar was a good opportunity to find a new potential developer of the Ungcheon and Namsan district and facilitate investment in the district," said an official of BJFEZ.
