Samsung Electronics Co. said it has taken over NVELO Inc., a U.S. storage
software company based in California.
NVELO's flagship product
Dataplex will help alleviate information congestion caused by data storage
devices like solid-state drive (SSD) when it exchanges data with a central
processing unit (CPU), the company said.
"The acquisition will upgrade
Samsung's capacity to provide storage solutions related to SSD to clients,"
Samsung Electronics said.
