A leading U.S. travel magazine said Friday that it has awarded South Korea's two
major airlines the best airlines in the world honors in seven out of 64
different categories.
Business Traveler said on its Web site that
Asiana Airlines, South Korea's No. 2 flag carrier, was named the Best Overall
Airline in the World and the Best Overall Customer Service Airline as well as
earning the Best Overall Inflight Experience honors.
Asiana Airlines
said it has received four other similar awards from different U.S. and British
travel magazines over the past four years.
Business Traveler said
Korean Air topped their list in four categories; Best Airline Cuisine/Meals in
Business Class, Best Overall Inflight Entertainment in the World, Best Airline
Advertising Campaign and Best Airline in Asia.
The magazine said its
2012 Best in Business Travel Awards honors 41 different travel service companies
in 64 different categories based on a survey of travelers.
