Gyeonggi-do (Province) decided to invest 280 million won to support small-and-medium enterprises (SMEs) seeking to establish a joint venture with foreign companies,
according to the province Wednesday.
Any SMEs whose factory or headquarters are located in the province and engage in machinery, electronics parts and materials, automotive components, IT and contents sectors can apply for the support.
Gyeonggi will help companies search foreign investors and provide consulting services on finance and law.
It has supported SMEs struggled with financial difficulties to lure foreign investors or those seeking to introduce core technologies from foreign companies since 2011.
