The Incheon Free Economic Zone (IFEZ) authority will revamp its organization to speed up the development projects for Yeongjong District and Cheongna International City.

Its previous organization comprised of 4 headquarters, 2 strategic business support offices and 15 divisions will be modified to one with 4 headquarters, a strategic business support office and 16 divisions.

Urban Development Headquarters and Urban Management Headquarters will be renamed as Songdo Development Headquarters and Yeongjong-Cheongna Development Headquarters, respectively.

The city will also operate Asset Management Team for efficient management of I-Tower, U-City Team for comprehensive operation of ubiquitous city and MICE Team for cultivation of the MICE industry, which refers to meetings, incentives, conventions and exhibitions, under Planning & Coordination Headquarters.

General Affairs Team and Personnel Team will be integrated into General Affairs and Personnel Team, Art Center Support Team and Convention Team into Public Facility Team and Advertisement Team and Facility Management Team into Facility Management Team.
