According to Yonhap News,
(SEOUL=Yonhap News) The Small and Medium Business Administration (SMBA) announced on June 27 the establishment of the Korea Venture Investment Center in Pudong, Shanghai, China.
The Center was jointly launched by the SMBA, Korea Venture Investment Corp. and Korea Institute of Startup & Entrepreneurship Development.
It plans to not only provide offices, education on the Chinese accounting and legal systems and management consulting services to Korean venture companies that strive to advance into China, but also carry out activities to increase investment in Korean companies by Chinese investors and venture capitals.
“We hope the Center will support more Korean SMEs and venture companies to make inroads into China given that Pudong, home to more than 13,000 companies, is the hub of finance and trade following its designation as a free trade zone last September,” said an SMBA official.
