(DAEJEON=NEWSIS) The Korea Water Resources Corporation (K-water) held an investor relations session on April 23 for construction companies, hotels, distributors and real estate developers to encourage more investment in waterfront real estate.

K-water introduced its major projects, including the Songsan green city, Sihwa multi-techno valley, Gumi expansion complex, Gumi high-tech valley and Busan eco-delta city, and held consulting meetings with potential tenants.

The corporation strives to create an eco-friendly and tourism-oriented waterfront city. It is focused on the Songsan green city.

The Songsan green city, which promotes a future-oriented tourism and leisure city, will be divided into six zones: an ecological residential complex, international theme park, a dinosaur egg fossil site, residential and commercial districts and a marina resort.

The international theme park, which will be based on Korean Wave contents, will comprise a theme park, water park, hotels, outlets and a golf course on 4.2 million ㎡ of land near the Songsan green city.
