(SEJONG=Yonhap News) Sejong City held a briefing session on the pre-sale of the King Sejong Tech Valley, the city’s first urban high-tech industrial complex, on March 11 at the Plaza Hotel Seoul.
The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, and Transport (MOLIT) and National Agency for Administrative City Construction introduced the location, area and price of the industrial site, target businesses, land use plan and application requirements.
The King Sejong Tech Valley, which will be located in the fourth settlement zone of the city, will be within 10 and 20 minutes from Daedeok Innopolis in Daejeon City and Osong-eup in Cheongju City by car, respectively.
The pre-sale prices of the high-tech industrial complex and multi-functional site will range from KRW 1.59 million-KRW 1.69 million and KRW 2.2 million-KRW 2.43 million per 3.3㎡, respectively.
"Many companies are eyeing on the King Sejong Tech Valley as the pre-sale price is 65-90% level of the construction cost (KRW 2.48 million/3.3㎡) and they can benefit from various incentives including tax deduction and a five-year interest-free installment plan for the land cost," said a MOLIT official.
