Date
2016.06.15

According to Yonhap News,

(SHENYANG=Yonhap News) A total of 45 South Korean small and medium-sized companies will show off their new products at an international trade fair in northeastern China this week, according to a South Korean trade body on Tuesday.

It is the first time for South Korean firms to participate in the China Harbin International Economic and Trade Fair, which will begin its five-day run from Wednesday in Harbin, the capital of China's Heilongjiang province, said the Shenyang office of the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA).

The event is expected to help the South Korean firms make inroads in China's three northeastern provinces -- Heilongjiang, Jilin and Liaoning.

"The Harbin international trade fair will become a good opportunity for South Korean firms to sell their products in China as well as Russia and Mongolia," said an official at KOTRA's Shenyang office.

The Harbin trade fair is being jointly sponsored by trade institutions from more than 10 nations, including Russia and Japan, according to the fair's website.
