According to Yonhap News,

(DONGHAE=Yonhap News) East Coast Free Economic Zone (EFEZ) Authority is set to hold an investment information event in Fukuoka, Japan, from September 27 to 29 for local companies involved in the marine products industry.

Organized by the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) and led by the EFEZ Authority, the City of Donghae, and the Donghae Free Trade Zone Office, the event will be held under the title "Donghae Cold Chain and Marine Product Processing Logistics Investment Environment Information Event."

During the event, presentations will be made on the current status of Korea's marine products industry (Donghae City), the local cold chain system construction project (Donghae FTZ Office), and the long-term lease conditions at a local industrial complex that is currently looking for tenant companies and plans to form a new industry cluster for manufacturing and processing marine goods in connection with the cold chain system.

The one-on-one consulting sessions held concurrently were designed with so that the active efforts in attracting investment to each individual company seeking to enter new foreign markets lead to actual investment arrivals.

According to a EFEZ source, "through the event, EFEZ seeks to secure new tenants for the long-term leasing area and contribute to the formation of the marine product manufacturing and processing industry cluster along with the Donghae FTZ Office."
