According to Yonhap News,

(SEOUL=Yonhap News) A job fair with 92 foreign companies including the Boeing Company, Adidas and Siemens will be held. The companies plan to hire about 800 employees.

Seoul Metropolitan City announced on November 6 that Seoul, Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) and Financial Supervisory Service will jointly hold a job fair for foreign-invested companies on November 8 at InterContinental Grand Seoul Parnas.

Foreign companies usually prefer hiring experienced employees through headhunters rather than opening recruitment to new workers. However, 80 percent of the participating companies plan to hire new employees at the job fair.

The HR managers from the companies will have job interviews on site. About 8,890 job applications were submitted in prior to the job fair through the Website.

Those who did not submit job applications can apply for interviews on site. About 60 companies including DHL Korea and Bayer Korea will take job applications on site.

Companies taking on site application and required documents are provided on the official website (www.jobfairfic.org/ikw).

In addition, eight companies including Bayer Korea, Adidas Korea and Denso Korea will hold a seminar to introduce model employee, recruitment procedure and open positions.
