(SEOUL=Yonhap News) A Japanese who has been developing antibody new candidate drug by applying foreign technology and foreign-invested companies that have contributed to society by providing medical funds to children will be cited by the Mayor of Seoul.

The Foreign Business Awards 2018 where excellent foreign-invested companies and people that have contributed to Seoul through FDI or social contributions, will be held on November 13 at the Westin Chosun Hotel.

In the investment sector, Yoshimi Kunikazu, President of A Biotech Co., was cited as the excellent business person. He has contributed to development of the city's policy for becoming a key player of bio industry by establishing A Biotech that carries out R&D of antibody new drugs.

In the social contribution sector, P&G Korea and Jatco will be cited. P&G Korea has been contributing to enhancing the environment of children's hospital and providing medical funds, and Jatco has been visiting children's center regularly and distributing free meals to homeless people at Seoul Station.
