According to Yonhap News,

(SEOUL=Yonhap News) Bio Korea 2019, the country's largest health and pharmaceutical industry gathering, aims to support local companies in making the next leap forward and expanding into new markets, the government said Wednesday.

The three-day fair that runs through Friday at the Convention and Exhibition Center (COEX) in southern Seoul is the 14th of its kind, with some 25,000 health officials and corporate representatives from 50 countries to take part in this year's event, according to the Ministry of Health and Welfare.

The ministry said the fair can help local companies showcase their know-how to potential foreign partners, which can lay the groundwork for South Korean companies to form cooperative arrangements going forward, leading to more opportunities to enter overseas markets.

The South Korea-Australia health industry exchange program, meanwhile, will be held at the fair, along with the Global Pharmaceutical Key Opinion Leader meeting, which will be attended by drug experts from all over the world, according to the ministry.
