(SEOUL=Yonhap News) On May 13, the Korea Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) announced that "International Food Industry Exhibition 2019" (hereinafter to be referred as Seoul Food), one of the four largest food industry exhibitions in Asia, to be held on May 21-24 at KINTEX, Ilsan.

The 37th Seoul Food will be participated by about 1,500 exhibitors from 40 countries all over the world.

Programs include "Overseas Buyer Program" in which Korean companies have one-on-one export consultation with foreign buyers selected by KOTRA's 124 overseas offices, and "Domestic Buyer Program" that supports domestic distributors to open up sales channels.

"Global Food Trend & Tech Conference", an opening event with a theme of "Discovery"-The Adventurous Consumer, will provide an opportunity to gain prospects on the past, present and future of the global food trends and tech industry.

Meanwhile, other programs available include: Culinary Challenge; Seoul Food Awards 2019; and Wine Tasting Pavilion, among others.
