(SEOUL=Yonhap News) On June 10, Korea Development Bank (KDB) and Korea International Trade Association (KITA) announced that "NextRise 2019, Seoul" a global startup conference/exhibition will be held at COEX on July 23-24.

For business partnering meetings, conglomerates including Samsung, Hyundai Motors, SK Telecom, LG, Lotte, POSCO, GS, Hanwha, KT, S-oil, KEPCO, NAVER, NC Soft, and the first generation of startups will be participating.

For IR sessions, investors including IMM Investment, KTB Network, Intervest, Korea Investment Partners, KB Investment, LB Investment, Hyundai Technology Investment, AJU IB Investment, Atinum Investment, POSCO Technology Investment, and Smilegate Investment will be joined.

Venture Capital (VC) from Japan, Singapore, Australia, Brazil, and others interested in Korean startups are also scheduled to come for IR event, according to KDB. In the "Global Session," Amazon, Lenover, BASF, and Xiaomi are to take part.

The startups who want to participate in IR and business partnering consultation, are required to apply through the official website of NextRise 2019 by June 16.
