On Feb. 28, World OKTA (World Federation of Overseas Korea Traders Associations) announced the opening of “2020 business conference to meet with local entrepreneurs” held in Yanji, China from Aug. 29-31 and the city of Dubai, UAE from Oct. 1-3, respectively.

Yanji Conference, which has signed an MOU for cooperation and exchange with the municipal authorities last year, is timed to coincide with the “13th Yanji- Tumangang Int’l Investment & Trade Fair”

For the Dubai Conference, organizing bodies involved are now looking for a plan to be synergetic with “2020 Dubai Expo”, which will become a perfect venue to help the fisheries ministry and Korea Fisheries Association break in and open business channels in the Middle East. The chair of World OKTA, Ha Yong-Hwa said “We’ll spare no efforts to make the event a great success through which small businesses in Korea can form a sales network to further expand the markets.”

For information sharing, business networking and tighter solidarity among community members, World OKTA has opened the annual event. Last year, the conference was held in Bishkek, Kiorgizstan and Johannesburg in the Republic of South Africa.
