KOTRA to launch a digital service TF, an “untact marketing platform”
Date
2020.03.18

According to Yonhap News,

Korea Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) formed a new task force on Mar. 9 in an attempt to mitigate the impact of the COVID-19 epidemics.

Adding to videoconferencing service, the TF, designed to focus primarily on what’s called “untact marketing”, will lead B2B infra development and finding overseas marketing channels based upon B2C platform. KOTRA has spearheaded the new trends, “virtual meeting” or “untact business activities” since the coronavirus outbreak has swept through the globe.

Over 200 cases to connect 165 businesses in Korea to 125 buyers were reported so far over the past three weeks, and another 400 cases have already been booked this month. KOTRA says they’re now seeing strong demand for the service, estimated to reach nearly 2,000 cases, far above the goal of 1,000 within three months, adding that “The digital service TF will stand at the forefront to support businesses in desperate need of help amid the pandemics”
