S.Korea embarked on a senior level trade talks with Beijing to elaborate on bilateral free trade agreement provisions in service & investment segments on Mar. 17. Both parties have joined a two-way video conference in the midst of the coronavirus pandemics.
Prior to the session, Seoul and Beijing had been in sixth rounds of official negotiations to wide open access to service & financial markets, taking turns to hold the dialogue so far.
