According to Yonhap News,
The Ministry of SMEs and Startups (MSS) said on Nov 8 that they’ll run an O2O trade fair over a dozen time in 12 cities in nine countries by the end of this year, teaming up with Small & Medium Business Corporation (SMBC), Korea International Trade Association (KITA) and Korea Federation of Small and Medium Business (KFSMB).
Starting from Nov 9 in the city of New York in US and Beijing in China, the fair is set to be held one after another in cities across Vietnam, Thailand, Russia and Kazakhstan, showcasing more than 500 product lines such as coronavirus test kits, face masks, cosmetics and bio-healthcare products produced by small but promising manufacturers in Korea.
Given the current situation where countries remain under lockdown due to the ongoing coronavirus crisis, locally hired sales personnel on Korean participants behalf are taking the role of marketer, attending and PRing products at the fair. Korean manufacturers faced with travel bans have direct access to virtual business meeting to contact global buyers and vendors.
