According to the SMEs ministry’s announcement, the world’s largest annual trade show, Consumer Electrics Show (CES), opens a separate virtual showroom, called ‘K-Startup’ to showcase the latest innovation of 97 Korean tech companies during the exhibition which take place on Jan 11-14 in 2021.
The exhibitors are the shortlistees, picked by a dozen startup incubating agencies such as Korea Institute of Startup and Entrepreneurship Development (KISED), Small and Medium Business Corporation (SMBC) and Daegu Technopark, to take part in the annual consumer tech conference, particularly held online this year. These participants prepare for a screen shot of show booths at a virtual exhibition, letting attendees worldwide come and see the future tech trends.
The Ministry of SMEs and Starups (MSS) said “Three of the exhibitors – Luple, M2S and SOFTPV- were pre-selected as part of this year’s Innovation Award Honorees of CES 2021.”
