Ulsan and Hyundai Motor have agreed to work together to enhance the competitiveness of automotive parts suppliers and create local jobs.

The Hyundai Motor hydrogen fuel cell factory will adopt a One Factory model, integrating the chemical process (stack manufacturing) and assembly process (system manufacturing), with construction scheduled to begin in the first half of this year.

Hyundai Motor stated, "Through our collaboration with the city of Ulsan, the Ulsan factory will become a key production hub for Hyundai Motor Group’s fuel cell systems."
