According to Yonhap News,
On May 19, the Ministry of Trade, Industry, and Energy (MOTIE), in collaboration with the Ministry of Employment and Labor (MOEL), announced that the "2025 Global Talent Fair," the largest job fair in Korea, will be held at COEX, Seoul.
This event, taking place on May 19-20, aims to connect young job seekers hoping to work at global companies with excellent job opportunities.
Approximately 370 companies will participate in the event. The fair will feature three main recruitment halls: ▲ For Foreign-invested companies ▲For international students, and ▲ For overseas employment.
Among these, around 150 companies, including Bosch Group and Hitachi Energy Korea, will participate in the Foreign-invested companies hall.
MOTIE emphasized, "It is important to focus on global leading companies and advanced industries, where the proportion of foreign investment companies is high. We have established a new 'Global 500 Companies Zone' that includes Fortune Global 500 companies like 3M and Boeing, factoring in job seekers' demand."
A 'Tech Zone' will also be set up, featuring about 70 companies from five advanced industries, including semiconductors, secondary batteries, displays, bio, and artificial intelligence (AI).
In the international student recruitment hall, over 100 domestic companies, including Amorepacific, Samsung C&T, and Dongwon Group, will conduct interviews on-site and present their hiring plans.
The overseas employment hall will host 124 overseas companies, including those from Japan, Oceania, North America, Europe, and the Middle East, either traveling to Korea or participating online to conduct remote hiring consultations.
Minister Ahn Duk-geun of MOTIE stated in his opening ceremony speech, "Despite the challenging domestic and international situation, investment in securing exceptional talent is necessary," and added, "I hope this job fair will provide an opportunity for young people to expand into a wider world and serve as a venue for companies to meet outstanding talent."
