The Ministry of Knowledge Economy (MKE) held investor relations (IR) events in major U.S. cities in collaboration with nine local governments and free economic zone authorities.
The IR events were organized to lure American companies run by overseas Koreans and inform them of various incentives provided by the central and local governments.
The MKE presented the current condition of Korean automobile industry at Detroit, the center of global automobile production, and regional development projects at L.A. where many real estate companies are accumulated.
It will host the Korea-U.S. Investment Partnership Forum in Washington D.C. early next month.
