According to Yonhap News,

Korea International Trade Association (KITA) and Industrial Bank of Korea said on May 31 that they gave NextRise 2023 Awards to 14 promising startups from both home and abroad in NextRise 2023, Seoul.

NextRise 2023 Awards are newly created this year to promote outstanding startups, and 332 startups applied for it this year.

Awardees will be given a chance to showcase their businesses and flagship products in NextRise 2023 Awards that will take place at COEX located in Gangnam from June 1 to 2.

Among those awarded, most of them were startups featured with AI-driven business models. FTD solutions, a US water management application operator, and Kabuk, a Japanese travel subscription service provider, also made the list.

"We expect these hidden champions, selected by NextRise 2023, will tap their technologies and ideas to overcome the currently sluggish economy and catalyze economic growth.", said KITA's Executive Vice Chairman Jeong Marn-Ki.
