The Korea-ASEAN Center announced on October 17th that it will hold the "2025 Korea-ASEAN Startup Week" on October 20-24 at the OnDream Society in Myeongdong, Seoul.
The event has been held annually since 2018 to discover high-potential early-stage startups in ASEAN and provide opportunities for investment attraction.
This year, 30 promising startups from 10 ASEAN countries, selected through recommendations from the embassies of ASEAN member states in Korea and the ASEAN Coordinating Committee on Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (ACCMSME), will participate.
These companies will engage in expert lectures and panel discussions aimed at strengthening their capabilities and entering the Korean market, as well as workshops with domestic venture capitalists from various fields.
Additionally, they will visit key innovation institutions in Korea such as the Daegu Future Innovation Technology Expo and the Seoul AI Smart City Center to explore Korea's advanced technology industry.
The Korea-ASEAN Center will share trends in the domestic startup ecosystem and best practices for market entry, and provide consultations on IR pitching (corporate promotion to investors) and corporate strategy development.
Furthermore, outstanding participants will be invited to Korea’s largest startup expo, "NextRise 2026", after selection process based on the companies' suitability for the Korean market and their competitive edge,
