'2025 Global Talent Supporters' Launched on Mar 21, beginning support activities for the youth employment
Pre-registration of job seekers opened, with '2025 Global Talent Fair' scheduled for May in COEX
On March 21, KOTRA (President Kang Kyung-sung) held the launch ceremony for the '2025 Global Talent Supporters' at its headquarters in Seocho-gu.
The Global Talent Supporters, consisting of 20 university students from across the country, will promote the '2025 Global Talent Fair' (hereafter referred to as the Job Fair), Korea’s largest global job fair, and the participating companies. In particular, they will cover foreign-invested companies in various fields such as semiconductors, batteries, IT, and cosmetics, and create promotional content based on their findings.
The 2025 job fair will be held at COEX in Seoul on May 19-20. The event is co-hosted by the Ministry of Trade, Industry, and Energy (Minister Ahn Duk-geun) and the Ministry of Employment and Labor (Minister Kim Moon Soo), and organized by KOTRA. The fair aims to support domestic youth employment with foreign-invested companies and overseas firms while also providing domestic job opportunities for international students.
The fair will feature 330 companies, including 180 foreign-invested companies including Fortune 500 companies such as 3M and Boeing, 100 domestic companies with hiring needs for international students such as AmorePacific, and 50 overseas hiring companies.
The job fair will offer a variety of programs, including the 'Company Job Booth' where job seekers can meet directly with company HR representatives, the 'Job Concert' with recruitment presentations, career talks, and mentoring, and '1:1 Employment Consulting' offering foreign language resume review and mock interviews.
Job seekers interested in participating can register in advance via the official website (globaltalentfair.kotra.biz). On-site registration will also be available, but pre-registration allows for priority access to the fair and related events, as well as the opportunity to submit resumes to interested companies for interview chances. The registration deadline is May 2, and popular companies' interviews and events may close early, so pre-registration is recommended.
KOTRA's Global Talent Development Director, stated, “There are many foreign-invested companies in Korea that offer stable and excellent job opportunities, but are not well-known domestically. With this fair, we will actively support many young people in finding new jobs.”
