KOTRA and the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in the Netherlands to hold the "Korea-Netherlands Job Fair" in Amsterdam starting April 2
Korean companies expanding to the Netherlands meet directly with young job seekers

KOTRA (President Kang Kyung-sung) will host the "Korea-Netherlands Job Fair for Korean Companies Expanding to the Netherlands" in collaboration with the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in the Netherlands, starting from April 2 for 4 weeks. The fair is designed to address the management and recruitment challenges faced by companies expanding into the Netherlands and provide young Korean job seekers with opportunities to apply to leading local companies. A total of 40 companies, including 37 companies in diverse fields such as electronics, food, medical, automotive, and electrical equipment, as well as 3 global companies, will participate in the fair.

In the first session of the job fair held on April 2, the Dutch law firm "Loyens & Loeff" gave a lecture on the latest labor laws and how to address common employment and personnel management challenges that emerging companies face every year. Individual consultations addressing specific business challenges also took place.

In the second session, "Undutchables," a local recruitment agency, introduced practical job-seeking strategies such as resume writing tips and interview preparation methods. Following that, representatives from various companies presented their recruitment strategies, including company vision, ideal candidate profiles, and hiring schedules.

The third session featured a networking opportunity where job seekers could directly engage with their companies of interest, ask questions, and interact. KOTRA will provide support for resume reviews and talent matching starting April 3 for 4 weeks, and individual recruitment procedures will follow.

The Netherlands is a strategic logistics hub with a high level of English proficiency, an innovative and open industrial environment, making it an increasingly important country for Korea-Netherlands exchanges in fields such as IT, energy, and semiconductors. The demand for talent from both Korean companies and global companies collaborating with Korea continues to grow steadily.

Kim Hyun-chul, Head of KOTRA’s European Regional Headquarters, stated, "I hope that through this job fair, we can resolve the business challenges of Korean companies operating in Europe and provide young Koreans with a gateway to employment in Europe."
