MOTIE, KOTRA support 8 Korean Companies in the "AI Assembly" hosted by the Dubai Future Foundation
Nota AI signed AI Solution contract with Dubai RTA
The Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy (Minister Ahn Duk-geun) and KOTRA are officially supporting the participation of 8 promising Korean AI companies in the "AI Assembly" held at the Dubai Museum of the Future on April 21-22.
This event is a key program under the "Dubai AI Week," which is hosted by the Dubai Future Foundation. It is the largest public-led AI event in the Middle East, where global AI industry trends and policies are shared, with participation from major companies and institutions worldwide.
The Dubai Future Foundation, chaired by H.H. Sheikh Hamdan, is the control tower for Dubai's future industrial strategies, with involvement from key government figures such as the Minister of AI and the Director of the Dubai Roads and Transport Authority (RTA). Dubai has recently set AI as a core pillar of national growth, promoting AI-driven transformation across various sectors, including digital administration, smart mobility, and healthcare and education automation.
KOTRA’s ongoing support has resulted in successful outcomes for companies like Nota AI (CEO Chae Myungsu). Nota AI first met the Dubai RTA during the "Intelligent Transport System World Congress" in September last year, followed by a follow-up meeting at KOTRA's "2025 Middle East ICT Roadshow" in February. As a result, they signed a contract to supply on-device generative AI solutions, and the contract will be officially announced during this AI Assembly.
KOTRA is expanding the presence of Korean technology in the Middle East AI market through a "Pre-Discovery - Early Connection - Result Expansion" strategy, which includes identifying promising companies, linking them with local institutions through B2B, and supporting contract signings. In particular, KOTRA is strengthening partnerships with public agencies in Dubai, such as the RTA and the police department, which are active in AI adoption, to advance long-term supply chain entry.
"Dubai is not just a hub city in the Middle East but has established itself as a global testbed for AI and future industries," said Kim Myung-hee, head of KOTRA’s Innovation and Growth Division. "We will actively support this event to help our companies grow as practical partners in the Middle Eastern AI industry."
