MOTIE, MOEL, KOTRA hold the '2025 Global Talent Fair' at COEX on May 19-20
With over 370 participating companies, the event aims to expand employment opportunities for foreign-invested companies, overseas firms, and international students, with around 17,000 job seekers in attendance.
Networking events with top global 500 companies and tech zones will also facilitate meetings between local and international talent and businesses.
The '2025 Global Talent Fair' kicked off successfully at COEX on MAy 19, with over 370 companies and around 17,000 young job seekers participating.
The fair is hosted by the Ministry of Trade, Industry, and Energy and the Ministry of Employment and Labor, and organized by KOTRA. It is Korea's largest comprehensive job fair, supporting domestic job seekers with employment opportunities in foreign-invested companies, overseas firms, and for international students seeking employment in Korea. * Major Job Fair (2025) : 2025 Korea Job Fair (March, 121 companies), 2025 FOME Job Fair (April, 110 companies)
The fair holds great significance, as various institutions, including the Human Resources Development Service for Korea, the National Institute for International Education, Seocho District Office, Sejong Job and Economic Promotion Agency, and the Financial Supervisory Service, have collaborated to create a platform where job-seeking youth can meet companies with hiring needs, despite recent stagnation in the job market.
The fair runs from May 19 to May 20, with an overseas employment section offering both in-person and online recruitment consultations until May 30th. A total of 370 companies are participating, including 147 foreign-invested companies, 124 overseas companies*, and 102 companies hiring international students. *65 overseas companies are attending in person, and 59 are participating online.
President Kanug Kyung-sung of KOTRA commented, "This job fair is a meaningful opportunity for youth and companies to grow together and build a sustainable future for Korea.
