The Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy (Minister Ahn Duk-geun) and KOTRA (President Kang Kyung-sung) will host the "Seoul International Food Industry Exhibition 2025" (hereafter referred to as Seoul Food 2025) from June 10 to 13 at KINTEX, Goyang. The exhibition will be the largest ever, with 1,639 companies from 45 countries in 3,033 booths.

Now in its 43rd year, Seoul Food 2025 is the largest food exhibition in Korea and one of the four major food exhibitions in Asia and has contributed to the innovative growth and global competitiveness of K-food. The exhibition will bring together food-related companies and organizations from Korea and around the world, serving as a major platform for understanding global food trends through active exchange.

In particular, Seoul Food 2025 will offer various opportunities to help participating companies expand their domestic and international markets, including business exchange programs and export consultations with domestic and foreign buyers, aimed at enhancing business networks.

To support foreign participants in entering the Korean market, the event will offer "Biz-Matching," which provides one-on-one consultations with domestic buyers, as well as "InterSeller Business Consultation" for food companies and equipment manufacturers to promote their technologies and products and gain partnership opportunities.

Various programs will be available to stimulate business activity and increase on-site sales revenue of participating companies. These include the "Seoul Food Awards 2025," which recognizes excellent K-food products, and the "Seoul Food Live Commerce Sales Competition," featuring live sales by popular creators such as Coupang Creator Jeong Yoon-hee and YouTuber SangHyuk, who has 1.6 million subscribers. These programs aim to encourage participating companies with outstanding products and support sales and global promotion through livestream shopping.

KOTRA President Kang Kyung-sung stated, "Seoul Food is a marketing platform for K-food exports and a guide for reaching the USD 20 billion export target for K-food. We will continue to grow Seoul Food into not just one of Asia’s four major food exhibitions, but a leading global food exhibition and the best export platform for K-food."
