Project Overview

  • Location : 26 Chahang-ri, Daegwallyeong-myeon, Pyeongchang-gun, Gangwon-do
  • Development Area: 253,640㎡
    • Not-Developed Area: 213,640㎡
    • The Area of Confirmed Development: 40,000㎡ (To construct a training facility by Health Insurance Review and Assessment Service (HIRA))
  • Project Cost: Approx. KRW 70 billion (To construct HIRA's training facility)
  • Facilities to be introduced: Training facilities, Hwangtae-duckjang and commercial facilities, Tourism and accommodation and affiliated facilities

Locational Condition

  • Location
    • Located in the inlands mountainous area of Young-seo, Gangwon-do, highland area with altitude of 700m or higher
    • With the average temperature of Summer 19.2 ~ 21.5℃, it is characterized by cool climate.
  • Topographic features around the development area
    • Consist of arable land and forest, and gently sloped hilly area
    • To the south of the development area, residential are including houses surrounding Daegwallyeong elementary school was already established.
    • Mostly 500m ~ 800m elevation, with a degree of slope 15 or less
  • Accessibility
    • Less than two hours from the capital area (KTX 100 minutes, Highway 130 minutes). Great accessibility of metropolitan transportation
    • Main access road can be reached by provincial road No.456 branched off from Yeongdong Highway (Daegwallyeong IC), located within 1km from IC
  • Tourism attractions in the proximity: Yongpyeong Resort, Alpensia, Ranch (Daegwallyeong Sheep Ranch, Haneul Ranch, Samyang Ranch, Alps Ranch), Seonjaryeong, Balwangsan Mountain, New and Renewable Energy Park, Hwangtae-duckjang, etc.
